Joel Somerfield graduated from Royal College of Art – Communication Art and Design.

Based in London, Joel is a  freelance producer/director and graphic designer for a variety of great clients. Late last year he co-founded ‘ORDER’ a film & video production company which operates out of studios in Hackney Wick, East London. ORDER’S work encompasses, video direction, animation, graphic design, art direction and illustration. Our favoured aesthetic is a high-end lo-fi look. Embracing the analogue approach for a distinctive feel, which might take a little longer but provides great results.

Currently in the works are some short documentary pieces for Creative Review, a short documentary/animation for The Crafts Council and two music videos.

Just finished working on a very interesting ‘How-to’ viral video for Sponsume a new and exciting website based on the concept of viral funding.

Other recent clients include – Tate, Creative Review, Crafts Council, The Design Museum, Don’t Panic.
